“A deep sadness”

“It is with deep sadness that we learned of the tragic death of one of our players, Pierre-Mathieu Fernandes, following a road accident this morning. Pierre-Mathieu was 22 years old only,” reacted the Isère rugby club on Saturday on Facebook.

Playing as a right pillar, “PM” was originally from Clermont, he also wore the Chambéry jersey last season. Our most tender thoughts go directly to his family, to his loved ones but also to the group of CS Vienne Rugby players, to the staff, and to all the components of the club, all in shock this morning.
