The CMA awards, which are divided into ten categories, are presented to individuals from diverse backgrounds and representing various career stages and specialties, who work in rural and remote areas as well as in large cities. These individuals reflect the diversity of the medical profession and the communities we serve.

The nomination period has now begun and will close on November 30, 2024. The CMA Awards and Honors Committee will review all nominations in February 2025.
With the exception of two awards – the Owen Adams Honorary Award and the John McCrae Memorial Medal, for which non-CMA members are eligible – nominations can only be submitted by and for members. in good standing with the AMC.
