Among the 64 applications received as part of the call for expressions of interest, 15 were ultimately selected. The Minister Delegate in charge of the social and solidarity economy, profit-sharing and participation, Marie-Agnès Poussier-Winsback, announced in a press release dated September 27 the identity of the 15 Territorial Economic Cooperation Poles (PTCE) which will be financed by the State. An envelope of 1.5 million euros is distributed among the winners. Each will receive 100,000 euros over two years: 50,000 euros the first year and 50,000 euros the second.

The minister explains in the press release: “ The 15 winning PTCEs demonstrate that territorial cooperation is a powerful lever for creating economic and social value. Concretely, the winning PTCEs allow all stakeholders in a region to work together to provide solutions to everyday issues. This cooperative work requires time (network coordination and project engineering in particular and dedicated resources). »

What is a PTCE?

A territorial economic cooperation hub is, according to the ESS Lab, “ a grouping, in a given territory, of initiatives, companies and networks of the social and solidarity economy associated with socially responsible SMEs, local authorities, research centers and training organizations, which implements a common and ongoing strategy of cooperation and pooling in the service of innovative economic projects for sustainable local development ».

PTCEs have been recognized by the State since the 2014 law on the social and solidarity economy. The State lists 200 across the country.

Since then, this call for expressions of interest has been renewed annually.
