The RestonScène Theater Company! of Glowing (Eure-et-Loir) near Chartres, presents its brand new creation to you Rome… in one day.

This play, written and directed by Gaëlle Chalude, tells the story – fictional but who knows? – of a man who suddenly falls into madness just when he thinks his hour of glory has finally arrived.

A commune “dead for

The pitch of this new work is very enigmatic… Do you know that there are in France “cities which have neither inhabitants, nor buildings, nor even a territory… but which retain a mayor?” »

Fleury-les-Anges is one of those. A commune in the Meuse razed by the bombs of the Great War, a commune known as “dead for France” but whose heart still beats, discreetly, weakly, under the duty of memory.

For many years, it was the grandfather and then the father of Hervé Damloup who peacefully administered the remains of this vanished territory and, from now on, it is to him, Hervé, that this noble task falls.

Except that this Damloup has revenge to take and madness, insidiously, will interfere in the disproportionate project of a lifetime…
