The Quebec Police Service (SPVQ) made three new arrests of members of the criminal community on afternoon. The suspects face attempted murder charges.

An investigation opened on April 19 allowed police officers to arrest three young men aged between 20 and 22, in the Saint-Rédempteur sector, in Lévis.

In addition to attempted murder, police believe they have all the elements in hand to charge the three individuals with armed assault, robbery, break and enter, threatening and conspiracy.

Two of the young suspects remained detained and must appear at the Quebec courthouse during the day, Thursday. The third man was released on a promise to appear in court.

Furthermore, SPVQ spokesperson Sandra Dion confirms that another suspect, aged 43, is still wanted in connection with this case.
