The Electric Cayenne will be presented before the new thermal version. In these images, our Source confirms, it is indeed an electric Cayenne and not a larger version, the K1. The electric Cayenne should be released about a year before the K1 and the latter will also be larger. The camouflage is very important, leaving little room for discovery of the design.
Just like the recently revealed Macan, the electric Cayenne should be based on the PPE (Premium Platform Electric) platform, but with wider tracks and a longer wheelbase, due to its larger size. By adopting this PPE platform, the Cayenne will likely offer the same advanced technology as the Macan. It will also allow the new SUV to carry the new batteries (with higher capacity and greater autonomy) than the 100 kWh battery of the electric Macan, which should offer a range of 480 km. The electric Cayenne should be presented in 2026.
