Organized by the Albi Skate club, the “Ramen ton skate” event is dedicated to beginners. This free session invites all budding skaters to meet at the Pratgraussals skatepark, Sunday May 5.
Beginners represent a very large proportion of licensees in skateboard clubs. However, when we look at the annual programs, most of the activities and events are designed for experienced practitioners.
Faced with this observation, the Albi Skate Club team decided to “put the spotlight on this audience”. Young and old: “Ramen ton skateboard” day calls for bringing together in a good mood everyone who is interested in skateboarding. “We collectively thought about activities for those for whom competitions are not yet interesting” explains the Albigensian association. “We have imagined activities around slow-paced skateboarding, small balance challenges, DIY and art activities, but also adaptations of fair games…”.
Around the skatepark, the club’s team of volunteers will run a reception stand, a refreshment bar, and will offer some activities.
