On Wednesday, April 24, the L’agence d’or seniors’ club organized a friendship day which was a tradition well followed by the Générations Mouvement seniors’ associations before the health crisis.
Geneysian president François Anglade and his office colleagues invited neighboring clubs for a day of sharing and conviviality. Coming from Allègre, Céaux-d’Allègre, Polignac and Saint-Paulien, around fifty participants responded to the invitation. The morning began with a discovery stroll through the town passing towards the Maréchal-Fayolle castle and its commercial streets, then a visit to the church. At noon, everyone met in the multipurpose room of the Fernand-Quintin space for a packed picnic. For dessert, members of the local club had prepared a wide range of cakes. Given the weather, the afternoon was devoted to various games, belote, rummikub, scrabble, tac-tik, triominos. This day helps create links between clubs. Members meet, discuss, share a moment in a beautiful atmosphere.
