The facts occurred on the D622the road linking Nailloux to Auterive. Shortly after 5 p.m., Sunday September 29, a van and a motorcycle was involved in a traffic accident near the place called “Sicardou”, in the commune of Mauvaisin.
The toll communicated by the Haute-Garonne firefighters turns out to be very heavy: a man aged around 25 and one woman in her thirties must have been evacuated in absolute emergency towards the Purpan University Hospital in Toulouse.
Road cut and SAMU helicopter
When they arrived on the scene, ten firefighters from the Auterive and Cintegabelle fire and rescue centers first took care of the two victims on site. The road was closed to traffic the time of operations.
The SAMU helicopter was dispatched on site to carry out the evacuation of the young woman by air and medical means.
