Trad
The Rencontres Musicales de Nedde regularly schedule concerts and traditional music courses in several towns. Thus, Saturday October 12, workshops and traditional ball will take place in the Théodila room in Peyrat-le-Château with, as a bonus, a visit to the musical and historical heritage of the town of Peyrat.
This day will begin at 2:30 p.m. in the Théodila room with two courses. The first will be given by Tiennet Simonnin around ensemble music. The second will focus on vocal practice and will be proposed by Anne-Lise Foy. During this time, Pascale Nguyen will introduce the dancers for the evening ball between rondeaux, congos and other Béarnais jumps for example to make the most of the evening ball. At 3 p.m., the musicians will invite you on a heritage and historical tour of the town. At 7 p.m., after an aperitif offered by the municipality in the Théodila room, a food truck will offer you snacks or meals from the bag or even meals in one of the city’s restaurants.
After the feast, the traditional ball will begin at 9 p.m. with Clément Rousse who will be followed by the traditional Auvergne music trio Traucanèu which brings together Anne-Lise Foy, Tiennet Simonin and Camille Raibaud.

Healthy sport
The CPTS Eaux et Forêts, in partnership with the Maison Sport santé de Saint-Junien and Limousin Sport Santé, is organizing an information evening on the theme of healthy sport, Thursday October 3 from 8:15 p.m. at the Saint-Junien village hall.
Program: at 8:15 p.m., reception; at 8:30 p.m., intervention by Limousin Sport Santé on the benefits of sport, sports health prescriptions and the Pep’s system; at 9 p.m., zoom on the Saint-Junien Passerelle; at 9:30 p.m., presentation of the Passerelle clubs and relay activities. On Thursday October 3 at 2 p.m., on the occasion of Blue Week, an information afternoon on osteoporosis is organized Jean-Cocteau room in Panazol (prevention, treatments, role of diet). This disease, which affects 30% of women after the age of 65, as well as men, results in a weakening of the bones leading to a significant increase in the risk of fracture of certain parts of the skeleton.
The rheumatology departments, with the presence of Professor Vergne-Salle, maxillofacial surgery and geriatrics of the Limoges University Hospital and the Beaublanc medical center offer several conferences: “The management of osteoporosis, on the way to screening systematic” by Dr. Anna Billo; “The role of food”, by Pascale Hogrel, dietitian; “The role of advanced practice nurses: management of chronic pathology”, by Marion Noël, nurse; “Treatments: what are the risks for the teeth? », by Dr Julie Usseglio.

Landscape
The landscaper Alain Freytet will present a (free) conference at the Université Populaire d’Eymoutiers on Friday October 4 at 7 p.m., on the second floor of Eymoutiers town hall. Entitled “Getting involved in landscape”, this conference will allow this landscaper to explain why landscape design is a commitment. A few years ago, he proposed the redevelopment of the Lande du Puy Lacroix interpretive trail located on a shore of Lake Vassivière (not far from the roundabout leading to Royère-de-Vassivière).
This teacher at the National School of Landscape of Versailles is also a consulting landscaper for the Network of Grands sites de France and for the Conservatoire du Littoral. In 2022, he received the Grand Prix national du Paysage with the Conservatoire du Littoral for the work he led for the redevelopment of Cap Fréhel.
