The 15-year-old victim allegedly tried to take refuge in a building lobby before being stabbed. Nearly 72 hours later, investigators are trying to determine the role of the suspect’s mother, suspected of having hit Matisse while he was lying on the ground. They are also studying the profile of the perpetrator. Aged 15, of Afghan nationality and in a regular situation, he is already known to the police, indicted and placed under judicial supervision for a violent robbery on April 22, a week before the murder of Matisse. In the neighborhood, several neighbors describe a nervous, often violent young man. Matisse’s father called for calm. On his Facebook account, he wrote a long message to pay tribute to his son. Monday evening, the prosecution ordered the incarceration of the suspect. Her mother was placed under judicial supervision. A white march in tribute to Matisse will be organized on Saturday morning.
