Even if it’s not Christmas time yet, it doesn’t hurt to have ideas now. Then we are never safe from a surprise birthday. This is why today we present to you a rather crazy idea: the olfactory scratch poster. It is “a world first” according to its creator, Benjamin Rimajou, originally from . This is a poster on which 100 small stickers to scratch off. These latter include cartoons which represent activities to do at least once in your life, such as seeing the Northern Lights, going skydiving or buying a house.

Teamwork…

The inventor of the product Benjamin Rimajou looks back on its origin: “the idea came to me because my darling is plastic arts teacher in the Touraine metropolis, in college, and she makes a whole battery of cute little characters. I have seen them in the house everywhere for years, I said to myself that we had to do something with them, that there was great potential. So we took up the concept of world maps that we scratch when we visit countries, with the 100 things to do in your lifejust to challenge yourself a little, and to have fun throughout your life.”

And what is new is that there are certain vignettes which reveal a little smelllike the popcorn and mojito boxes, for example. “First, my darling made the drawings with a ballpoint pen, then I scanned them to make them digital and to be able to color them behind, it was quite laborious, but the result is really very professional and nice. Behind, we called on a factory to develop the concept with gold scratching ink which is olfactory”explains the Tourangeau.

…and united

But isn’t all this elaboration a bit energy-intensive? “It’s not particularly polluting”according to Benjamin, who recalls that the poster paper comes from “sustainably managed forest. Then above all, it’s made in . We are campaigning not to take any products from abroad, it is very important for us. We are in Tours and we are having the product packaged in an ESAT by people with disabilities »he specifies.

To begin with, the “Géo Trouvetou” would like to put up for sale 1000 posters. To do this, he launched a crowdfunding campaign. And Benjamin does not intend to stop there since he plans three new versions of the poster in 2025. But on what themes? ” Mystery “he adds, ensuring that his creations will be intended for both young and old.
