Following the heavy rainfall in the morning and the rising waters of the Sevron, the municipality activated its municipal protection plan.
In connection with Codis 01, it was decided to evacuate the campsite. The manager coordinated this evacuation intervention for the 40 residents temporarily present. The municipality has made the village hall available to accommodate people who have to leave their accommodation during the time of the risk of flooding of mobile homes.
The municipal reception protection plan was lifted around 2 p.m., after validation by Codis 01, all people staying at the campsite having made arrangements for the remainder of their stay.
The flood alert is still in effect in the town. The municipality urges residents to exercise extreme caution when traveling.
40 interventions in the department
The precipitation generated around forty interventions, mainly in the western part of the department, reported the Ain firefighters this Monday, April 29.
Firefighters carried out pumping operations and secured property.
Around twenty calls were transferred to the Departmental Council Roads Services, mainly for flooded roads.
