There will be 48 sailors taking the start of The Transat CIC, this Sunday April 28 at 1 p.m., between Lorient and the island of Groix (Morbihan). The monohulls will then return to New York via the North Atlantic, over a course of 3,500 miles (6,482 km).
33 Imoca will battle on the water during the first transatlantic race of a year which will take them to the Vendée Globe, which will start on November 10. 13 Class40s and 2 Vintages will also sail to the United States.
