Driving an Audi with two passengers on board, a 21-year-old man from Vendée knocked down a police motorcyclist who had fired four shots, after refusing to comply and a 15-kilometre chase, on 14 August, south of Nantes.

A 21-year-old man was sentenced to two years in prison on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 by the Nantes Criminal Court. Lenny Rousset was tried in immediate appearance for a crazy chase initiated with the police on August 14, 2024, in broad daylight after a speed check in Saint-Philbert-de-Grandlieu.
Already five convictions
Two motorcyclists from the motorized platoon had chased the driver of a Audi with two other passengers on board. A peak speed of 188 km/h was recorded. In Sorinières, the vehicle was stuck in traffic. A police officer, who found himself on the ground after the Audi braked suddenly, opened fire four times when he saw the vehicle’s reversing lights come on.
With flat tires, theAudi had finally stopped in a field. The 21-year-old driver, already convicted five times in Vendée, has been in custody since the incident.
