Missing since Friday afternoon
Philippine had been missing since Friday afternoon. According to The Parisianthe 19-year-old student was due to go to the family home, located in Montigny-le-Bretonneux (Yvelines), after having lunch at the university restaurant of Paris-Dauphine, where she was a student. When her relatives did not see her arrive, they began to worry, calling her and her friends several times. According to the daily, the young woman gave no further sign of life after 2 p.m., when she left the university’s CROUS.
According to a police source at Agence France-Presse (AFP), Philippine’s sister reported her worrying disappearance on Friday evening, around 11 p.m., at the 16 police station.e district of Paris.
A hunt organized in the Bois de Boulogne
Philippine’s relatives, very worried, managed to geolocate the young woman’s mobile phone. It was spotted in the Bois de Boulogne, where they took the initiative to organize a search, bringing together around fifty people. According to The Parisianthe meeting was held on Saturday afternoon in the Parc de l’Ouest Parisien.

The autopsied body

An investigation into voluntary homicide has been opened and entrusted to the criminal brigade of the Paris judicial police. No arrests have yet been made at this stage, but witnesses report seeing a man with a pickaxe in the area.
A minute of silence will be held this Monday afternoon at Paris-Dauphine University and a psychological unit has been opened.
