the essential
After the silver label in 2023, the club obtained gold during a new labeling campaign led by the French Federation.
Another satisfaction for the club chaired masterfully by Alexandre Saby. His entire team can boast of being once again in the spotlight with the obtaining of the gold label of the French Judo Federation, the club being one of the seven clubs in Occitanie distinguished this year.
“I am delighted with this wonderful award presented by our Federation. It demonstrates the total commitment of the steering committee, our technical director and all the volunteers over the last ten years and I thank them for it,” he confided. In fact, this distinction aims to reward the most virtuous and committed clubs by highlighting, among other things, the activity within the Federation, the complete range of courses, from the judo school to veterans, the ancillary projects such as the commitment to the ecological transition and to inclusion. But also and of course the sporting results, the commitment of the volunteers and the excellence of the supervision and training provided.
A family and committed club
This is confirmed by its president: “by having structured the governance, this has allowed us to develop new projects and offer a complete range of activities, from baby judo to health sports. A remarkable dynamism from all the players in the club which gives our association, through many friendly times – participation in the city’s activities such as the world waste collection day and welcoming people with disabilities – a family dimension but also one that is committed to social and environmental issues”.
An award that could not have been made “without the support of our public and private partners, who make all our actions possible”. But which is neither an end in itself, nor an achievement and pushes the strong man of the Columérin club to continue to surpass himself, “it is an additional motivation to carry out the future developments that we have in our associative project”. Yet another proof of the dynamism of USC judo as well as its eminent place in the federal landscape.
