In a popular video on social networks, the President of the National Union of Blacksmiths (UNAF), presenting himself as brother and friend of the illustrious deceased, says he received testamentary confidences from Richard Moulomba Mombo. “It’s obvious poisoning. He told me that he was poisoned,” said the UNAF President without hesitation.
In his statements, Thierry D’Argendieu Kombila, invites the biological family of the illustrious deceased, in particular his older sister, in whose presence these testamentary confidences would have been made, to cite the names of the alleged authors of this fatal poisoning, “since the names have been mentioned”he argued.
Thierry D’Argendieu Kombila revealed that these confidences, Richard Moulomba Mombo, made them to him at the very home of the deceased, in the presence of the elder sister of the late president of the Alliance for National Renaissance (ARENA), returning from medical care at Bongolo Hospital, in Lébamba.
Continuing his confidences, Richard Moulomba Mombo would have indicated to Thierry D’Argendieu Kombila that the political plot against his person would have started in the period before the presidential election of August 2023. It is in this context, “that he related to me the circumstances in which his state of health was deteriorating and that the leaders of the old regime had even paid members of his entourage to put an end to him politically. Money circulated enormously within his party to destabilize it”he added.
In consideration of this latest revelation and this context of the last presidential election, therefore before the takeover of power by the CTRI, the president of the UNAF therefore takes the liberty of refuting the rumors which allege that the president of the transition would be involved to the poisoning of his former brother and friend. “Richard Moulomba himself never alluded to Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguéma, nor to the CTRI in his confidences. He never told me and there, I think we are in the grotesque”he asserted.
And these confidences, Thierry D’Argendieu Kombila says he is ready to reiterate them and assume them in front of the members of the biological and political families of the deceased, in the presence in particular of his older sister.
Tireless defender of democracy and irreducible opponent of the fallen regime, Richard Moulomba Mombo died on April 19, following a long illness, at the Akanda Armies Instruction Hospital. While waiting for the funeral program, the president of the transition went to pay his mourning civilities to the widow, the orphans and the family of the illustrious deceased.
