Already down slightly last week, the average price of domestic fuel oil continues to fall.

According to the specialized site fioulmarket.fr, the invoice for an order of 1000 L increased from 1246 euros last Friday to 1240 euros this Friday April 26. The trend is identical for fioulreduc.com, which notably highlights a drop of 6 euros on Monday and 7 euros on Tuesday. The price of an order of 1000 L thus increased from 1228 to 1209 euros in one week.

Finally, prixfoul.fr reports a drop of 10 euros between Tuesday and Friday, to 1213 euros.

On the fuel side, gasoline prices had been rising sharply for several weeks, approaching or even exceeding the two euro mark. According to the carbu.com comparator, the curve is finally reversing. In one week, the SP98 (E5) lost 0.8 cents per liter (€1,998/L this Friday), and the SP95 (E10) 1.1 cents (€1,916/L).

Diesel fuel continues a decline that began at the beginning of April, losing 3.3 cents in one week (€1.769/L).

It is difficult to know whether this downward trend for petroleum products will be lasting. Oil prices have been yo-yoing this week, but are on the rise overall. A barrel of Brent traded at $87.07 at the opening on Monday, before climbing to $89.69 this Friday morning.
