Advanced intermediate student of the Festif-Country-club of Charmeil, Géraldine Beluche won the gold medal during the inter-regional championship and trophy of the French Dance Federation in Cugnaux.

In front of national judges, she presented five compulsory dances, including nightclub, waltz, cha-cha, east-coast-swing and funky styles. Very good grades, both artistically and technically, came to mark the excellent career of Géraldine who, since the age of three, had a passion for dance.

Thanks to his mother

“I started with classical dance when I was only three years old. » For around thirteen years, at the opera or elsewhere, she wore out the bars and floors and at the same time discovered, thanks to her mother, line dancing when country arrived in 2002, in Vichy.

“I followed mom everywhere to lots of events in with different choreographers to learn new choreography and also practice technique. »

In 2012 and 2013, she completed her Country Form level 1 and 2 diploma in teaching. “It allowed me to learn a lot about pedagogy, technique and musicality. Since 2018, I have been teaching in an association and am a volunteer teacher at the Champ-Capelet neighborhood committee. »

“When I dance I feel free”

Needless to say, dance is her passion and it is her whole life. “When I dance I feel free,” assures Géraldine, who, qualified for the final of the Coupe de France in Périgueux on April 20 and 21, won the gold medal again. Its next and last competition will be held in Villenave-d’Ornon, on June 15, for the French championship.
