COn Saturday evening, the official list of the 39 ministers of the future French government was released in the French media. Seven outgoing ministers, such as Rachida Dati (Minister of Culture) and Sébastien Lecornu (Minister of the Armed Forces), are being reappointed.

The Secretary General of the Elysée Alexis Kohler announced the composition of Michel Barnier’s government this Saturday evening. The President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron will bring together all the members of the Government for a Council of Ministers on Monday, September 23 at 3 p.m.
A joint team of 39 ministers, deputy ministers and secretaries of state was officially presented, including 12 Renaissance and 11 LR. Former socialist Didier Migaud becomes the government’s number two in protocol order.
