Indeed, this Friday, a first episode of Who wants to be a millionaire is broadcast on the One before finding another on September 27, and still others over the weeks. Programs not presented by Jean-Pierre Foucault or Camille Combal, but by Arthur.
According to our colleagues at TV Magazinethe filming of the first two episodes would have taken place last June. A few days before, Mareva Galanter’s companion suffered a fall and had clearly not fully recovered when the episodes were shot.
Arthur forced to take painkillers

In an interview with Télé-Loisirs, the 76-year-old host spoke about his participation in the 25th anniversary of the game show that he hosted for a long time: “I realize the suffering I put all my colleagues through for nineteen years. I said yes right away; the pressure came later, because I didn’t want to play “Who wants to be made to look like an idiot?”!”he joked.
