The times and program of the 2024 fireworks in Cannes

The Cannes festival fireworks are set off every evening around 10 p.m. from the Cannes bay and the beach of the Palais des Festivals. The firings are carried out from barges installed opposite the Croisette beaches. The show is free and lasts 30 minutes.

A few minutes before the start of the fireworks, a speaker announces the show to the spectators and presents in a few words the company that enters the scene. Each participant is represented by their anthem before the start of the fire. These last are accompanied by pop or classical music, thus creating a magnificent sound and light show on the water.

Namely: in the event of capricious weather and for security reasons, organizers may choose to postpone the fireworks until the next day.

Where to go to see the fireworks in the evening in Cannes?

Each year, the Cannes fireworks festival attracts more than 100,000 spectators. To avoid missing any of the show, it is advisable to settle down as early as possible. For the occasion, the Croisette beaches have deckchairs and tables on the sand for a picnic with family or friends.

You can also take advantage of this moment to visit the Notre-Dame-d’Espérance church as well as the medieval castle of the monks of Lérins, with its square tower.
