The September CAF aid, paid in October, will have a certain particularity this year that beneficiaries will have to take into account.
The date was known, but it is worth recalling. While the payments of aid from the Family Allowance Fund are planned month by month and notified in a calendar issued by the organization, the month of October will have a taste of delay.
For millions of beneficiaries, this aid is a good omen for the back-to-school period (APL, RSA, activity bonus, etc.), but to receive the September benefits, paid in October, you will have to be patient.
A question of time
The CAF pays the benefits to the banking institutions on the 5th of each month. This has been the case since the beginning of the year. But the coincidence of the calendar makes it a little more complicated to pay the aid from September to October since the date indicated is Friday, October 4.
“However, the actual payment into the beneficiaries’ account varies depending on each banking establishment. Your account can be credited up to three days later,” specifies the CAF.
In the case of October, therefore, the amount will be received no later than Monday 7th. The millions of beneficiaries will therefore have to be patient.
The next payments of 2024
The servicepublic.fr website recommends checking that payments have been made once the date has passed. To do this, go to the website or use the CAF application. If an error is found, it is possible to call an advisor on 32.30.
The next payments for the end of the year are planned as follows: Tuesday, November 5 for the October allocations and Thursday, December 5 for the November allocations.
Please note that on October 1, housing assistance (APL, ALF and ALS) received by more than 5.6 million people will be increased by 3.26%.
