What happened to Vianney’s X account? It has been missing since Sunday. The mystery remains, three days after the publication of a message of support for Gisèle Pélicot which provoked a torrent of reactions. On Saturday, the singer reacted to the broadcast of the video of Dominique Pélicot’s arrest, which occurred on September 12, 2020 in a supermarket in Carpentras (south).
He wrote: “There’s my song “beau-papa” (absurd contrast) that’s playing in the store when he gets caught, and I don’t know what to do with this information. Oh yes, I’ll take the opportunity to show my full support for Gisèle Pélicot, so courageous and so dignified. Infinite respect, Madam.”
The words of the singer of “pas là” shocked a crowd of Internet users, who accused him of using this sordid affair to promote one of his songs. “So there, there is a video of an old pervert who will later turn out to be the one who drugged and raped/had his wife raped for 10 years, but what intrigues Vianney the most is that his song (inaudible) is played during his arrest, to vomit”, we can read in particular on X.
“We must salute Vianney’s Coubertin spirit, because such a level of stupidity normally means a direct gold medal at the Olympics,” another Internet user castigates. Some refer to “filthy” remarks, others point out Vianney’s “egocentrism.” However, a few users came to the singer’s aid, speaking of “clumsiness.” “This world is sick and people are neurotic!!,” one of them complains indignantly. “Choose your battles better sometimes,” we can also read on Elon Musk’s social network.
Contacted by RTL, Vianney’s press service did not explain the disappearance of the X account.
