A two-storey house was ravaged by flames late at night in Calais, rue Martyn. The two adjoining houses were evacuated, the spread was prevented thanks to the intervention of 18 firefighters. Several hoses were deployed. This house was squatted and transformed into a place of dealing. A local resident testifies.
A restless end to the night for the residents of Martyn Street who were woken up at 4:30 a.m. this Tuesday morning by the fire in a squatted house.

There were no injuries from the fire, but a drunk woman lying on the sidewalk was taken to hospital.
The area is cordoned off, diversions are in place. A police investigation will be opened to determine the origin of this fire.
