Two inaugurations were held recently in the town of Auzits.
First of all, the municipality inaugurated its “city park” in the presence of the secretary general of the sub-prefect Arnaud Gardère, the senators of Aveyron Jean Claude Anglars and Alain Marc, the deputy Laurent Alexandre and the regional representative Stéphane Berard.
This project is the result of the work of the youth commission, established in November 2021. In fact, the teenagers of the town had requested a place to meet. Following several meetings, a multi-sports field was proposed. The young people chose the location, near the stadium. This project was 80% financed by the department and the State. The rest was taken care of by the municipality. The municipality was keen to thank the young people of the town for their investment in this great project.
At the same time, the inauguration of the Auzits wastewater treatment plant was held. It represents a good illustration of the investments made by the municipality. In fact, the old station no longer worked properly and was no longer able to treat the village’s wastewater. This new station, with a reed system, allows for effective and sustainable treatment. The project managers from the A2E design office explained to those present how this new station works and made them aware of the responsible behavior required for good water management.
