On April 3, 2024, three men were tried at the court for the burglary of Audrey Lamy’s house. The actress refused to file a complaint after discovering that they were in an irregular situation.

Burglaries are increasing among public figures. In October 2022, Audrey Lamy paid the price when three individuals broke into her home located in Hérault.

The actress was filming at the time of the incident, which resulted in the theft of luxury handbags and jewelry. A kidnapping whose value amounts to 18,200 euros.

On April 3, the trial of the three men was held in Montpellier following a complaint filed by the prosecution. The magazine Audience revealed that Audrey Lamy had in fact refused to take legal action upon learning the identity of the burglars.

Serial burglaries among celebrities

These individuals are of Italian-Bosnian origin and immigrants from Eastern in an irregular situation in . This is not their first attempt at burglaries: the trio is already being prosecuted for around fifteen thefts carried out in 2022.

Audrey Lamy said she felt “touched to the heart” when she learned of the situation of her burglars. She therefore “preferred to let it flow”, specified the magazine Audience.

On April 3, two of the accused were acquitted and one was sentenced to one year in prison and ten years banned from entering French territory.

This burglary comes in a series of similar events occurring among the residents of multiple celebrities. In December 2023, Cyril Lignac’s Parisian apartment was the target of thieves, followed by that of Patrick Sébastien in Boulogne-Billancourt. The singer Vitaa, the radio presenter Bruno Guillon and even players have also been victims of the intrusion of burglars into their homes in recent months.

In January 2024, several attempted burglaries took place, this time at the home of Nikos Aliagas in Fontenay-sous- (Val-de-) and of -Sophie Lapix in her Parisian house.
