He will never answer for his horrible act in court. Mickael Rouffiac, the father and murderer of little Chloé, five years old, died this Saturday of his injuries, after being stabbed in the throat and then defenestrated from the second floor of his apartment. “The person concerned died, without having been in a state to be questioned”, announced the parquet floor of Nanterre to the Parisian.
In conflict with his wife, the man living at 10, promenade des Pins in Courbevoie, in the Faubourg de l’Arche district, had during the night of Thursday May 11 to Friday May 12 slit the girl’s throat.
The horrible evening began when the police were alerted by a friend of the girl’s mother. Worried not to hear from her, the woman had warned that her friend had gone to look for Chloe at her father’s after a separation recorded the same day by a judge who had issued a removal order.
Arrived around 12:30 a.m., at the family apartment, now occupied by the father, the police had not obtained an answer, when suddenly the little girl’s mother had appeared completely naked and in shock.
Entrenched in the bathroom, the man had gone to the balcony on the second floor of his apartment. After stabbing himself in the throat, he then jumped into the void. Supported by the firefighters, the man was then taken in absolute emergency to the Georges-Pompidou hospital, where he died.
At the end of April, Chloe’s father had put up posters in the neighborhood to warn of the disappearance of his wife with his daughter on April 29. Ironically, he wrote then: “I am really distraught, I am afraid for my darling daughter, there is so much drama in society these days”.
