Aurore Bergé in to promote professional equality and women's sport

On the eve of International Women's Sports Day, Aurore Bergé, Minister responsible for Equality between Women and Men, will be traveling to the Rhône this Thursday, January 23.

A few days before the National Day Against Sexism and ahead of International Women's Sports Day, this trip will highlight equal opportunities and the fight against gender stereotypes.

The minister will begin her visit to the 6th arrondissement of by meeting entrepreneurs supported by the incubator The Firsts. Among them, the founders of startups like Healshape, Reus'eat, Lyonmedcare and Ti3rs will talk about their journey. Aurore Bergé will also exchange with members of the network Fighting Women and Alexandra Mathiolon, director of Serfim, a family business operating in traditionally male sectors.

A symbolic moment will mark this trip: the presentation of the insignia of officer of the Legion of Honor to Michèle Vianes, president of the Lyon association Regards de femmes, active in the defense of women's rights since 1998.

The day will continue at the Olympique Lyonnais players' training center, where the minister will highlight the importance of supporting women's sport. Finally, she will end her visit with a conference at the EMLyon Business School on the themes of professional equality, female leadership and entrepreneurship, in dialogue with the students.
