Train traffic interrupted between Marseille and Nice after the death of a worker on an SNCF construction site in Toulon
Last night in Toulon, a worker died while working on a large-scale SNCF construction site in Toulon. Information from Var-Matin confirmed by SNCF. Which, initially, caused traffic to be cut off between Aubagne, Toulon and Carnoules. Then, in connection with this terrible accident, a power supply fault was noted on a catenary.
As a result: the Marseille-Nice axis is cut off from train traffic in both directions. This leads to the elimination of many TER trains, for example from Marseille and towards Toulon or the town of Les Aiglons and of course in the opposite direction.
