This was confirmed on Thursday by a profile on TikTok called rene.ritter73, which is apparently Norman’s brother René. He is said to have died on Wednesday.
“Whether ups or downs, the Köthen friends always stand by you, your brother Koile, I was with you the last few days,” it says. (Spelling of all quotes adjusted)
The author of the lines adds cryptically: “I would have hoped that you would win the fight.” This could possibly mean Norman’s alcohol addiction and the associated liver cirrhosis.

And so he would be the third family member to die very early. In January 2021, mother Karin died at the age of 66, In 2023 Norman’s brother Andy will also be there at just 39.

The notorious Ritter family gained dubious fame over the past 30 years when “stern TV” regularly accompanied them through their violent everyday lives.
Even as a child, Norman in particular was not embarrassed to show the Hitler salute in public and in front of the camera. His dream career at the time: skinhead.
Quarrels within the family were just as common as xenophobia and violence against others. As children, the knight brothers are said to have even attacked a neighboring family and completely destroyed their apartment with axes.

Like his brothers, Norman was imprisoned several times for various crimes and also struggled for many years with his alcohol addiction, which also caused long-term damage to his liver.
