The new investor also brings changes at the top of the club: As the press release states, CEO Jimmy Berisha will step down as Chairman of the Board of Directors and hand over the office to Fitim Hasani, who will form the new Board of Directors together with Boletin Hasani.
The new owners were “highly motivated and committed to continuing the tradition and success of the club and providing new impetus with modern ideas and investments.” The new owners’ background in the construction industry will also provide a valuable basis for the long-term development of the stadium.
The current team at FC Schaffhausen AG and CEO Jimmy Berisha are convinced that this partnership creates a strong basis for sustainable success. Jimmy Berisha was quoted in the message as follows: “We are extremely pleased that we were able to bring Fitim and Boletin Hasani, two young and yet very successful and at the same time aspiring businessmen, on board. We are very confident that this support will give the club and FC Schaffhausen AG valuable impetus.”
New owner Boletin Hasani was quoted as saying: “We are very proud to be taking over FC Schaffhausen at this exciting time. It is an honor for us to become part of this traditional club and to support it with our expertise in the construction industry and our enthusiasm for the sport.” The goal is to further strengthen the club in all areas – both sportingly and infrastructurally. “We look forward to working with everyone involved to make FC Schaffhausen an even stronger club.”
