The Real Reason Kylie Jenner Skipped The London Premiere Of Timothée Chalamet’s New Bob Dylan Biopic

Just weeks after their PDA-filled appearance at this year’s Golden Globe Awards, Kylie Jenner decided to skip the London premiere of her beau Timothée Chalamet’s latest film, A Complete Unknownlast night.

While the couple are believed to have started dating in 2023, they have made only a handful of public appearances together, which is notable only for the fact that they’re two of the most famous young stars on the planet. The real reason, however, for Jenner’s absence at Chalamet’s premiere was that she doesn’t want to detract from his career moments.

An insider explained Jenner’s rationale after the pair’s appearance at the Golden Globes, during which Jenner avoided the red carpet before materialising at Chalamet’s side during the award ceremony itself. ‘Kylie didn’t want to make it about them. She wanted this night to be all about Timothée, how it was intended to be,’ the source told Page Six.

Jenner set a precedent in their relationship when she attended the after party of the Wonka premiere in London in November 2023 but did not walk the red carpet with Chalamet earlier in the night.

Despite their best efforts to avoid official red carpet photo calls though, the couple have been seen off-duty in public several times, notably making their public debut in September 2023 at a Beyoncé concert, during which time fans spotted — and photographed — them kissing. They also made an appearance at the US Open the same month, during which they also kissed.
