Clashes broke out on Tuesday at the Vélodrome stadium during the 16th final of the Coupe de France between OM and Losc. According to several sources, the origin of the conflict started from a firecracker sent by a member of the South Winners at a subscriber of Commando Ultras 84 in the South bend.
A huge fight then took place, requiring the intervention of stewards and the police, but the brawl lasted more than 20 minutes, which is to say an eternity. The scene was seen by the 61,954 spectators present. TV commentators also reported it on air during the live broadcast.
Knives and crutches were used according to several testimonies, which reflects the violence of the brawl. No troublemaker has been arrested so far. A steward was injured.
