I spy with my little eye two hot famous people getting lunch in Manhattan. Per TMZ, F1 driver Lewis Hamilton and Sofia Vergara were spotted giggling over a two-hour meal on Tuesday, and save for the fact that there were other people at the table, it almost looked like a date.

Logistically speaking, this pairing would make sense. Once motorsport’s notorious playboy, Hamilton has been single for quite a while. The 40-year-old once dated maybe-MAGA girl Nicole Scherzinger and was linked to Shakira in 2023, though he now spends most of his time either on the track or pampering his vegan bulldog, Roscoe. As for Vergara? She’s been tearing up the town as a single lady following her divorce from Joe Manganiello. So at least from an availability standpoint, I’d feel comfortable waving a checkered flag for these two.

Onto my next question: What do a race-car driver and an actress ten years his senior talk about for two-plus hours? According to onlookers at the restaurant, something so riveting that Vergara “barely touched her food.” Perhaps the conversation revolved around the perils of being sexy or what the inside of a Mercedes smells like after three hours of racing. Or, I don’t know, maybe they just stared into each other’s eyes for extended periods of time. Certainly, that would be enough for me to forget about my food. Anyways, wishing these two many more entertaining lunch dates.
