A “grazer” (a scammer specializing in Internet romance scams) pretended to be Brad Pitt and managed to extort more than 800,000 euros French style in just a few months.

Very quickly, her story made the rounds on social networks and many Internet users did not hesitate to make fun of Anne, who found herself victim of cyberbullying. To limit these attacks, the TF1 channel decided to supprimer le replay of the mother's passage on the platform on Tuesday January 14, in order to reduce this wave of hatred. Seven to Eight explained this choice on his X account by declaring that it is, basically, “an information program which deals with social problems with neutrality”.

Despite this withdrawal, it only took a few hours for Anne to speak on the show Legend presented by Guillaume Pley on YouTube, strongly criticizing the way in which the report was filmed. Now finding herself hosted by a friend on Reunion Island, it was by video that she spoke on the show, declaring “not to be crazy or stupid”, in response to strong criticism from social networks .
