FC Espaly (National 3) hosts PSG this Wednesday evening in the round of 16 of the Coupe de France (9 p.m.). For this historic meeting, relocated to the Marcel-Michelin stadium in Clermont-Ferrand, the president of the Haute-Loire club made a nice gesture for his volunteers.
The president of the Espaly club, Christian Perbet, who brought the club from the first division of District to Nationale 3 in 10 years, has seen his club go from 110 licensees to 400 since 2012, when he recovered the red club and black. On the occasion of the 16th final of the Coupe de France against PSG (this Wednesday at 9 p.m.), the head of a communications and marketing agency (TNT) based in Puy-en-Velay, but which works on the together of France, wanted to pay tribute to all those who work on a daily basis and especially on weekends at FC Espaly for this historic match.
His professional relations with the ASM club (Top 14) allowed him to recover the presidential box called “Groupama Rugby Club” located behind a mouth of the Michelin stadium and therefore a football goal this evening. The Edouard space on the first floor, with a panoramic view of the stadium, can invite just under a thousand people to attend the match in optimal conditions. These are club volunteers, players' families and kids from the football school. All transported by coach chartered by the region from Espaly.
Govou, Rougerie and Romeyer also invited
This will be the first time that President Perbet will not be in a corner of the stand not far from the edge of the pitch, as he traditionally does. He will also have the pleasure of sharing this evening with some friends he has invited, such as Francis Graille and Sidney Govou (natives of Puy), the former Clermont rugby player Aurélien Rougerie and the former co-president of the ASSE Roland Romeyer.
On the other hand, his Parisian counterpart Nasser Al-Khelaïfi will not be traveling to Auvergne, but he has sent an invitation to Christian Perbet to come and watch a PSG match at the Parc des Princes.
