THE WEATHER: Wednesday January 15, 2025 – no more sun

In the coming hours, moist and soft air will seep into the low countries. This makes it difficult for the sun and it becomes heavily cloudy.

Sometimes the cloud cover is thick enough today (Wednesday) produce some light drizzle.

The wind turns west to southwest and is still blowing weakly (1 to 2 Beaufort).

Temperatures are on the rise and will climb to 6 degrees on Wednesday afternoon. In the coastal regions it becomes even milder with daytime temperatures of up to 9 degrees.

Next night it will be cloudy and mainly dry with nighttime lows around +4 degrees.

Thursday the wind turns again to a more southerly to south-eastern direction.

On the one hand, this means that the soft air is expelled, and on the other hand, the sun has more scope during the day.

Temperatures rise to 6 degrees.

From Friday to Sunday the winter weather remains calm. We still hope for sufficient sunshine by supplying dry country air.

During clear spells at night, it will freeze again with the formation of frost and ice spots.
