A cold wave hits Morocco (until – 8)

From Tuesday, temperatures will drop to between –8°C and 9°C in a large part of the territory. The provinces of Ifrane, Boulemane, Sefrou, Azilal, among others, will be particularly affected with minimums of up to – 8°C.

Other regions, such as Jerada, Taourirt and the reliefs of Guercif, Taza and Al Hoceima, will also be affected by this cold wave, with minimum temperatures potentially dropping to – 4°C.

Even the Atlantic coast provinces, such as Casablanca, El Jadida and Safi, will not be spared. The DGM predicts minimums oscillating between – 1°C and 4°C in these areas.
