She explained to investigators that she had participated in the kidnapping and murder of the young woman. The victim’s DNA was found in the van used by the couple for criminal purposes.
Kidnapping
On December 18, 1993 in Saint-Christophe-le-Jajolet, Lydie Logé, 29, vanished. Married but separated, the young woman is the mother of a 7-year-old child, Julien. It was for him that that day, she went to do some Christmas shopping, which earned her the nickname “disappeared from the Christmas tree”.
The theory of voluntary disappearance was quickly dismissed. The case lacks facts, witnesses, and becomes a cold case.
-Partial confessions
Until 2018. Traces of DNA belonging to Lydie Logé were found in Michel Fourniret’s van, who was then the subject of an investigation for a series of murders and rapes.
A photo of Lydie Logé is then shown to the Ogre des Ardennes. He admits half-heartedly: “His face tells me something. I don’t believe it could be anyone other than me who ended his life journey,” cite The Parisian. The mother could be Michel Fourniret’s 12th victim.
