“I’m really looking forward to it,” Jans begins opposite FC Utrecht TV. “You train to play matches, so let it come. Feyenoord does a number of things very well. For example, disrupting, they did that very well against us in De Galgenwaard. They did not outplay us, but we actually lost without a chance. Now we have to ensure that we can play football under that pressure.”
“We have of course been working on developing ourselves all season,” he continues. “I think we are showing better things in terms of football, but that does not mean that you will score more points. I hope that we can continue in the second half away at Ajax.”
Last season, Utrecht led 0-2 in Rotterdam, but the team ultimately lost 4-2. “Feyenoord really struggled then. We still think that Hartman should have had a red card. Ultimately, Feyenoord was fantastic in the second half and they deservedly won.”
