Frans Krätzig is returning early from VfB Stuttgart to FC Bayern – and will probably be loaned out to the next Bundesliga club.
U21 national player Frans Krätzig has left VfB Stuttgart with immediate effect and has returned to FC Bayern Munich. As the Swabians announced, they had agreed with FC Bayern to end the loan deal for the 21-year-old winger early.

How Sky and Bild According to consistent reports, Krätzig is already about to move on to his next loan: the Bayern talent is set to move to 1. FC Heidenheim for six months. The medical check and a signature are still pending and the deal should not contain a purchase option. On the Ostalb, Krätzig would meet Paul Wanner, who is also on loan from FC Bayern to the Conference League participant.
Krätzig is under contract with FC Bayern until 2027
Krätzig joined VfB Stuttgart in the summer of 2024. Since then, however, he has only appeared once in the Bundesliga, twice in the DFB Cup and once in the DFL Supercup for coach Sebastian Hoeneß’s team. “Not least due to the competitive situation within our squad, Frans has not been able to get the playing time he wanted in the past few months,” said VfB sports director Christian Gentner about the decision.
He played two games in the 3rd league for VfB’s U21 team.

“Now the moment has come for me to take a new path and take on a new challenge,” said Krätzig. He has a contract with FC Bayern until 2027.
