For Laurent Wauquiez, the ZFE is a “umpteenth acronym of ideological pseudo-ecology”.

The former president of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region denounces the action of the Greens who oppose the Lyon-Turin project but who prohibit “for the middle classes and rural residents to access metropolises”. In Grenoble for example, the Metropolis managed by the socialists decided to maintain the exclusion of Crit'Air 3, while the State authorized it to shift its schedule.

Laurent Wauquiez sees in the ZFE the symbol of a “punitive and ideological bureaucracy which fractures our country and which we must get rid of”.
