A group of students from in the final of the “sport for tomorrow” competition organized by Décathlon

How to exercise with not much? Get a foam ball, a room to hang targets on a wall… And you get the bounse. If this discipline doesn't mean anything to you, that's normal: it is a creation of five students from the sports management school based in Win Sport school. As part of a project with the sports brand Décathlon, their project was selected for the final. The goal? Design an eco-responsible sport that could subsequently be practiced. A discipline that has developed in a short time, as Léann, one of the creators, explains: “It took us two days to think it up and from the third day onwards we started building something playable.”

And no excuses for this sport, because it can be done indoors and outdoors and it is accessible for everyone. For Estelle, it is a discipline that combines many benefits. “We wanted to invent a sport where you can move, to do wherever you are and above all where you can have fun. And then everyone can play, whether young people or seniors” .

“We didn’t expect to reach the final at all!”

An idea that pleased the Decathlon brand: of the 500 students starting this competition, the Tours group is one of the 6 finalists to appear before a jury, at the brand's headquarters in Villeneuve-d'Ascq. A result that Léane did not think she would achieve when she created the bounse: “It started from a small idea with our class group and when we see that we reach the final, we are proud.”

The students from Tours came in fifth place in the final ranking. It doesn't matter, because the most important thing is to participate!
