Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus bagged his third goal of the 2024-2025 English Premier League season and delivered an updated version of his infamous goal celebration.
The Black Stars player scored in the 58th minute with a header to cancel Mats Wieffer’s goal for Brighton and Hove Albion in the 51st minute to earn a 1-1 draw for West Ham United.
Kudus reacted fastest to a loose ball made by Brighton keeper Bart Verbruggen to stop Jarrod Bowen’s well struck shot to head home the equalizer.
The goal is Kudus’ third of the season in 12 EPL games and it is his second headed goal who scored 18 goals in 48 games last season.
In what has become part of his popularity, Kudus celebrated his goal by picking a stool nearby and relaxing on it.
However, the stool he sat on to mark his goal against Brighton was quite different from the stools he sat on to mark previous goals.
The stool was made of wood and had an elephant crafted in the design structure; teammate Crysencio Summerville sat with Kudus on the Ghana-themed stool.
West Ham have a win and two draws in its last three games. Scroll down to watch Kudus’ goal and celebration.
