Strasbourg Christmas market placed under high security

Checks at each entrance. For a month, security agents have been screening arrivals at the Strasbourg Christmas market. The system was reinforced on Saturday, December 21 in the morning. Now every bag is searched. “We feel safer when everyone is controlled”declares a visitor.

More vigilance also from the police. The rare cars authorized to enter the security perimeter are systematically inspected, even the trunks. These additional security measures come following the attack on a Christmas market in Germany on Friday December 20.
