Robelis Despaigne just captured the attention of fight fans around the world, with a truly spectacular finish.

After getting released by the UFC, the 6ft7 monster, signed with Karate Combat, making his debut for the promotion last night, against Dominik Jedrzejczyk.

Showcasing remarkable composure, Despaigne threw a kick before waiting for his opponent to steam forward and walk right into a brutal punch to send the Pole crumbling toward the canvas.

Jedrzejczyk lay face down with his hands on the back of his head, forcing the referee to call a halt to the action after just four seconds.

Coming from a taekwondo background, the 36-year-old is no stranger to making waves with his vicious strikes.

After all, it was his stunning highlight reel that earned him an opportunity in the UFC in the first place.

Robelis Despaigne had ups and downs in the UFC

In his first fight for the world’s premier mixed martial arts organization, Despaigne utilized his phenomenal power, finishing Josh Parisian in just 18 seconds to win a Performance of the Night bonus.

Alas, he couldn’t keep up the momentum, losing to Waldo Cortes-Acosta and Austen Lane, before leaving the promotion.

Luckily, with such a tremendous display yesterday, the fighter is well and truly finishing 2024 on a high.
