There are little or almost no chances of a white Christmas in Basel or southern Ticino.

There are still six days until Christmas Eve, and the forecasts for a white Christmas in Switzerland are up and down. At first it was said that it would be a green Christmas, now it seems that snow on Christmas Eve is possible after all.
“Compared to the previous days, the temperatures on Christmas Eve are modeled to be around 1 degree lower, which means that the probability of a white Christmas has increased significantly in some areas at lower altitudes,” writes MeteoNews in a blog post on Wednesday.
