For the end of year celebrations, the Young Farmers of Pays de Retz association is organizing an atypical Christmas parade.

Already in 2022 in Port Saint-Père and in 2023 in Saint-Hilaire-de-Chaléons, farmers had paraded aboard their illuminated tractors in the streets of these municipalities.

This year, it is in the town of Chaumes-en-Retz that the collective of Young Farmers of Pays de Retz will put on its show!

What route?

Friday, December 20, with a departure scheduled around 8 p.m., at the Super U in Arthon-en-Retz, the procession will begin its journey.

Crossing rue de Pornic, allowing residents of the Saint-Joseph nursing home to attend the show, going up avenue Arthus-Princé to reach the town of Chéméré and finally finishing the adventure at the Ellipse room around 9 p.m. h where on site, Calmetians will have the privilege of admiring the tractor exhibition and eating at the mulled wine and beer bars, as well as the numerous food stands present (galettes, crepes and local products).

A hundred tractors

As in previous years, the number of participants is estimated at around 100 tractors and between 500 and 1,000 spectators. The farmers, who are already preparing to decorate their machines, hope that the public will respond in order to end this year in full glory.

A moment of sharing offered by farmers in the sector wishing to allow young and old alike to experience a magical end of the year in the spirit of Christmas.

Friday December 20, departure scheduled around 8 p.m., at the Super U in Arthon-en-Retz.
